CHARLESTON, SC (July 30, 2020) — Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces it has been appointed to manage the retail space in the mixed-used Hoffler Place in Charleston, South Carolina.
Hoffler Place is a mid-rise student apartment building located at 595 King St. in Charleston’s central business district. Serving the students at the College of Charleston, Hoffler Place was developed in 2019 by Virginia Beach-based Armada Hoffler Properties.
The retail portion on the first floor of the seven-story building totals 12,000 square feet. It is comprised of four units ranging from 1,276 to 5,892 square feet. One space has been leased to Vietnamese noodle restaurant, Pink Bellies.
Darcy Steinbrecher, senior property manager for Divaris Property Management Corp. is handling this assignment. Steinbrecher has over 16 years of experience as a commercial property manager having previously held senior property management positions with Colliers International, JLL and Divaris Property Management Corp. in its Charlotte, North Carolina office. DRE leases, manages and sells approximately 3.6 million square feet of retail space in North and South Carolina.
The total leasable area of Hoffler Place is 189,970 square feet, with 74 units and 207 beds in average unit size of 828 square feet.
