VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (July 22, 2020) — Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of nine transactions for sold and leased commercial space totaling 27,566 square feet in Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Sales Transaction

Shaffer Enterprises, LLC sold a 5,150-square-foot office building located at 500 Baylor Court in Chesapeake, Va. to GEO II, LLC for $789,000.  As part of the sale/leaseback transaction, Shaffer will remain in half of the building, while the owner will occupy the remaining space.  Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the seller in the transaction.

Lease Transactions

VirginiaCarolina Civil, Inc. leased 3,213 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Harbour Breeze Professional Center located at 1520 Breezeport Way in Suffolk, Va.   Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group subleased 2,984 square feet of medical office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Corporate Landing Medical Center located at 1232 Perimeter Parkway in Virginia Beach.  Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Domoishi leased 1,180 square feet of retail space in Pembroke Place located at 300 Constitution Drive in Virginia Beach.  Aeri Jai represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.    Domoishi has 15 signed locations as of today. Aeri Jai is master broker for Domoishi throughout the country.

Lease Renewals

Keagan’s Irish Pub renewed its lease for 7,151 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach located at 244 Market St.  Gerald Divaris, Sezin Cortinas and Erica Rorrer represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Other restaurants in Town Center of Virginia Beach include: Cantina Laredo, The Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s China Bistro, California Pizza Kitchen, Bravo Cucina Italiana, Yard House, Tupelo Honey and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

Saffron Indian Bistro renewed its lease for 4,789 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach located at 4532 Columbus St.  Gerald Divaris, Sezin Cortinas and Erica Rorrer represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Another Look Another Level Hair Salon renewed its leases for two spaces of 900 square feet each, for a total of 1,800 square feet in the Divaris-leased and -managed Academy Crossing Shopping Center located at 3218 Academy Ave. in Portsmouth, Va.   David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Subway renewed its lease for 1,300 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Glenwood Shoppes located at 8401 Hampton Blvd. in Norfolk.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Other tenants in the Food Lion-anchored Glenwood Shoppes include Dollar General, Pizza Hut, Best Western, Taco Bell and Hardees.
